Columns & WIP limits
Open Configure › Columns to decide how statuses appear on the Board.
How column mapping works
Section titled “How column mapping works”Each column holds one or more statuses. A work item appears in the column that contains its current status. Moving a card to a column transitions the work item to one of that column’s statuses.
Statuses that aren’t in any column are listed under Unmapped. Work items in unmapped statuses don’t show on the board, which is useful for hiding statuses such as Backlog.
For Task Hubs that span several spaces, statuses from every space in scope are available, so you can map Done from one workflow and Closed from another into the same column.
Edit columns
Section titled “Edit columns”- Add column: give it a name, then drag statuses into it.
- Rename: click the column name.
- Reorder: drag a column by its handle.
- Move a status: drag it between columns, or back to Unmapped.
- Delete column: its statuses return to Unmapped.
WIP limits
Section titled “WIP limits”Set a minimum and/or maximum number of work items for a column. When a column goes over the maximum, or under the minimum, its header is highlighted so the team can react. The maximum must be greater than or equal to the minimum.
Limits are visual signals. Task Hub doesn’t block moves.
Days in column
Section titled “Days in column”Turn on Show how long work items have been in each column in Card layout to show dots on cards that age the longer they sit in a column.
