Access & roles
Open Configure › Access to control who can see a Task Hub and who can change it.
Access level
Section titled “Access level”| Level | Who can view |
|---|---|
| Public | Anyone with access to the home space |
| Private | Only Jira admins, space admins and the people and groups you add |
Add users or groups with Add people, then give each one a role:
| Role | Can view | Can configure the Task Hub | Can add events and milestones |
|---|---|---|---|
| Member | ✓ | ||
| Administrator | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
Jira admins and admins of the home space always have Administrator rights.
What access doesn’t change
Section titled “What access doesn’t change”Task Hub access controls the Task Hub, not your work items:
- Viewing a Task Hub never reveals work items that a user can’t see in Jira.
- Creating, editing, transitioning and commenting on work items still follows Jira’s permission schemes.
- Making a Task Hub private doesn’t hide its work items elsewhere in Jira.
