Card colors

| None | No color |
| Work item types | Their type, for example Bug, Story or Task |
| Priorities | Their priority |

| JQL | The first JQL rule they match |
Then choose a color for each value, or each rule. Choose how the color is applied:
- Left edge color: a colored strip on the left of the card
- Background color: the whole card is tinted
JQL rules
Section titled “JQL rules”With the JQL source, select Create JQL Card Color and add rules such as:
| Color | JQL |
|---|---|
| Red | due < now() AND resolution = EMPTY |
| Amber | due <= 3d AND resolution = EMPTY |
| Purple | labels = customer |
Only the first matching rule applies, so drag the most important rules to the top.
Label colors
Section titled “Label colors”Open Configure › Label Colors to give labels their own colors, for example frontend in blue and security in red. Colored labels show on Board cards and in filters, so you can scan them at a glance. Select Add label color, pick a label and choose a color.
